Denise Lorriane Banadyga was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan on November 6, 1954 to her mother and father Annie and Mike, where she lived on the family farm near Kelvington, SK alongside her brothers Leon and later Ken.
Once she completed elementary and high school in Kelvington, Denise went on to complete schooling from Saskatoon Business College leading her pursuit of Administrative positions through her later adulthood.
Denise welcomed new experiences, residing throughout the East Coast NS, NB as well as communities in Alberta.
Through her time she carried a warm smile and an eccentric sense of sophistication that cultivated many friendships and stories abroad.
In 1994 she gave birth to Morgan Machuk, fulfilling a dream of entering the roles of motherhood.
Mom had a keen skill in the garden, a mother’s touch in the kitchen, and a nose that would always find its way into a book. She loved her pets and wildlife, taking up birdwatching and nature walks. Making sure to enjoy nature at every opportunity.
Denise later returned to the prairies, renting a cozy apartment in Saskatoon, making for easier visits with granny whom she loved dearly.
As time lead on, Denise’s health began to decline, never hindering the joy she found in antiquing and garage saleing with girlfriends, sharing stories of her adventures and showing compassion with all she could.
Denise passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023 at St. Paul’s Hospital Saskatoon at the age of 68.
She was survived by her Son Morgan (Carl); Brothers Leon (Donna) and Ken (Malvina); Nephew Tyler (Kim, Elliot, Evie); Nieces Bree (Mark, Griffin, Elizabeth), Marcella (Sean, Rebecca, Hannah) and Michelle (John, Alexander)
