Daughter of Joseph and Mary Michalko. Born in rural Saskatchewan near Mikado on November 12, 1934 and died on June 21, 2016 with her loved ones around her. Thank you to the doctors and nurses from home care for everything they did for our mother. Predeceased by her parents, baby sister Nellie and sister Margaret Pallos. Survived by her sister Maryann, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Derek (Lorna) Martin, Rajiv and James; Bonita (Glenn) Dechert, Jared, Tara, Melanie (Josh) Whitlock, Asher, Wyatt; Sean (Holly) Deckert, Ireland, Seamus; Ken (Adelaine) Koback, Michael, Sherryl, Miley, Kerri, Dawn, Matthew, Kelsey, Jaxon and Christian. Debra worked in the retail paint industry both in Saskatoon and for many years in Calgary. It was in Calgary that Deb first started to study the Bible and was baptized as one of the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1982. She had the hope of being resurrected and in the living in the earthly conditions promised in Rev. 21:3 and 4.
