William L Cook, Jr. (Bill) passed suddenly on September 24, 2024. He was born in Carlise, Arkansas on February 10, 1951.
A majority of his life was spent in Toledo, OH where he became a loyal Ohio State Buckeye fan before moving to Sarasota in the early 90s. Bill retired after a long career with plastics manufacturer Octex Corporation where he worked in Quality Assurance. He spent his leisure time watching cooking shows and trying out new recipes. He was the best cook!
During his retirement, Kathie and Bill enjoyed stay-cations at home and traveling to St. Pete Beach appreciating each other and the Florida sunshine.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathie (Dabrieo) Cook; his son, Billy Cook and partner Kim Mayne; and his sister, Mary Lapointe and husband, David. Bill had a large extended family and will be missed by his many friends and relatives.
