BRADENTON, FLORIDA. Robin Laurel Lindsay of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 31st in Bradenton, Florida after a brief illness. She was 58.
Robin was born to Gerri and David Lindsay in Danbury, Connecticut on March 28, 1963, and grew up in Ridgefield, Connecticut where she graduated from Ridgefield High School.
Robin’s joy, love, and infectious energy were apparent to all who knew her. She was as dependable as the day is long, tenacious in pursuit of her passions, and (some might also say) stubborn as a Frenchie waiting for supper.
Robin would tell you the unquestionably proudest achievement of her life is her son, Desmond, whom she loved, respected, and admired with every ounce of her being.
An avid sports enthusiast, Robin spent whatever time not devoted to her career and Desmond’s baseball career rooting for her favorite teams from her living room, a tailgate, and the rooftop (Go Bucs! Mets! NY Giants! Lightning!). She also enjoyed boating and sipping cocktails at the beach.
Robin is survived by her son, Desmond, her mother, Gerri, her “brother” Phil, and her Frenchie, Lola.
Services will be held at 3pm on September 3rd at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park with a reception to follow at the Grove in Lakewood Ranch . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund, https://www.temmons.org/donate.html
