Patsy Jean Brock, age 85 of Port Charlotte, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. She was born April 23, 1931 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Melvin and Nellie Duke. She graduated from Jonesboro High School. Patsy married Charles Leonard Brock on March 6, 1950. She attended the Church of the Nazarene. Patsy loved music, singing, and was an avid piano player. She enjoyed being around family and children. Patsy will be forever remembered as a gentle soul and a loving mother. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband in 2010. She is survived by her children, Terry Brock of Orlando, FL, Lisa (John) Dillay of Clarklake, MI, and Thomas (Sally) Brock of Jefferson, GA; her grandchildren, Heather Buckley, John Dillay III, Mary Ekard, and J.T. Brock; and 5 great grandchildren. Per Patsy’s wishes, no services will take place.
