She attended nursing school in Sarasota, Fl. and initially worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Marianne gave birth to her first son, Ian Baldwin, in 1973 who passed away in June of 1976. Marianne met her husband of 30 years, Eric Keitel, in 1975 and went on to have two sons Ryan and Kyle. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for her father’s business, Starlite Construction, in Sarasota, Florida until 1996. Marianne and Eric moved to Maine in 1996 and she later returned to Florida in 2015. She continued work as a bookkeeper after starting her own business, Starlite Accounting, once back in Florida, which she operated for the rest of her life.
Her parents Morris and Mary along with her brothers Michael, John, Daniel, and her son Ian have predeceased her. Marianne is survived by her brother Patrick, her two sons Ryan (wife Kendra) and Kyle (wife Amanda) her 6 grandchildren Brittany, Dylan, Brooklynn, Adelynn, Kamdyn, and Brayden and two great grandchildren Mason and Lily.
Marianne died on January 26, 2022, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Her visitation is on February 6th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with the burial following at 2:30pm. Visitation and Burial services will be held at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park 170 Honore Ave. Sarasota, Fl. 34232. Marianne, Mom, Zippy, Noonie was a strong willed, faithful friend to many, all of whom will keenly miss this strong, loving woman.
