Jared was born on February 11, 1983, in Flowood, MS. He lived his life with passion and purpose and was a force to be reckoned with. After graduating high school, he attended Columbia State Community College in Franklin, TN where he studied drama. He then went on to join the New York City Opera as a Performer in Manhattan. He discovered his lifetime career after graduating from Aveda Institute as a Stylist in Nashville, TN. Jared worked tirelessly to perfect his craft and expand his experience and soon became an Experienced Celebrity and High-Profile Makeup Artist in the Cosmetics Industry.
Jared gave of his time and talent to many Charitable Organizations and had such compassion for abused or neglected children and anyone who had fallen on hard times or were less fortunate. Everywhere Jared went he brought laughter and fun, and if you could become his friend, he would be a friend for life. I hope he can see the impact he made on so many lives. He sure made an impact on ours.
None of us knew this day would come so soon; Our Son was so precious to us. His early departure will leave a hole in our lives, a hole that only the Lord Jesus can heal. Even in this tragedy beauty will rise from the ashes, and the Lord will use it all for his Glory. We will meet our Sweet Son again. We won't say goodbye; we will say “see you soon.”
He is survived by his parents and step-parents George and Carol Keys, and Larry and Carol Campbell, his sisters Nicole Smith and Morgan Keys, his step siblings Christina Thomas, Anna Thomas and Will Thomas, his grandfather George W. Keys Sr. and his grandmother Frances Thurby, his nephew Cole Colyer, his aunts Gwen Callahan, Becky Toxey and Theresa Sullivan, his uncle Neal Morse, his cousins Rhonda Thompson, Mark Tutor, Les Manning, Brian Manning, Jamie Sullivan, Deborah Hancock, Cameron Sullivan, Christopher Cameron, Bradley Cameron and Phillip Cameron.
Visitation for Jared will be 12-2 pm Friday, December 7 with service immediately following visitation at 2 pm.
