Thinking about Skip today on his birthdate. Met him when I dated his sister Deanna in high school. He was 12 years old and even then you knew he had a bright future, and he didn’t disappoint. Lots of good memories.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Skip.   You were a blessing to all through the many lives you touched!    Rest in peace my friend!

To Skip wife Trish my deepest sympathy for your loss. I attended VFMA with Skip from 57 through 61 . Playing baseball on the Varsity Baseball team. Years latter we meet in south Florida with are wife’s for lunch. We kept in touch from time to time.

Our hearts are heavy for we have lost a great, noble, kind friend and  C of E  teammate.  He was one of C of E’s great tackles and one of the reasons why we enjoyed  two undefeated seasons  in 1962 and 1963.  As a quarterback, I appreciated having Skip as my blocker.  Those were great years and our friendship continued when we both discovered we were Florida neighbors.  Skip was one of a kind.        C of E fights!

Skip was a great man who helped me with my career early on through a charity that he was involved in. I got to know him through golf at Worcester CC in MA and got a chance to visit him and Trish in Sarasota many years ago. He was a friend to all, and always helpful and smiling. RIP and FIDO.

All my memories are gathering around me now of the great times we had living in WildeWood   Life was so good with you and Trish as friends. It was the best of times. I will remember you always.

Donna and I are so sorry to hear about Skip’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 
As you know our relationship began with our meetings at the Triangle Club in Pittsburgh in the early 1970s to his final days on this earth in Sarasota. 
In that time, we shared so many thoughts from our local sales contacts in Pittsburgh, and later in attempting to solve our great                                                                                                                                                                                                 industry’s pending issues, to our final days of visiting with each other in Sarasota just sharing a cigar and a glass of wine together and reminiscing about all our time together. 
Skip accomplished so much on his life’s great journey and brought many in our industry such a positive attitude on everything. Skip was the consummate salesperson. 
It has been a such a pleasure just to have known both of you sharing our ride on this wonderful train of life! 
I will end with one final note that Skip just recently shared with me… Go Steelers!

The  DeVillings and Easton families were neighbors on a small circle in  Brookside Farms in Pittsburgh.  We were there from birth to college. We shared multiple family connections as we both had large families and siblings of similar ages.  Skip was my age and we stayed connected over many years.  He will be  missed. May he Rest In Peace❤️

JR and I are very sad for your loss of a wonderful husband, Skip. We really enjoyed Skip's sense of humor and his savvy intuition. He had a warm smile and generous heart! I always called him a"Giant" among men. JR and I truly enjoyed the times the four of spent together and always looked so forward to seeing you both.
You were so wonderful taking such good care of him these last years.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Skip. I had the privilege of knowing him for many years, and I will always remember his kindness, wisdom, and the incredible leadership he provided. His mentorship had a lasting impact on my life, and I know many others who were equally touched by his generosity of spirit and humor.

A Great American and friend. A joy to fish , golf , laugh or have a discussion with. A gentle giant always willing to help and supportive of those less fortunate. Skip was a kind soul, a person I had a lot of respect for. I got to know him through our Chautauqua FB group, the one he had started long ago.  Thankfully I did meet him when he visited Chautauqua a few years back. I will miss him.
