Barbara Jean Bender (née Miller)

Jean died peacefully in her sleep in Sarasota Florida. She was born in Davison, Michigan a city within Genesee County and lived most of her life in Florida. Her husband Ed grew up in Crosshill, Canada. Many will remember her friendly smile as they met and welcomed Amish and Mennonite snowbirds to Pinecroft, Sarasota.

She is survived by son Thomas E. Bender of Sarasota, Florida and many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. Predeceased by husband Ed Bender, and siblings-in-law Fred (Violet), Ammon Bender (died as a toddler), Marcus Bender (Marion), Earl (Marie), Verna (Aden) Snyder and in-laws Aaron and Madeline (Gingerich).
