William Donald "Ducky" Cartee

William Donald "Ducky" Cartee - a 74 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Saraland passed away at his home on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was member of the Boilermakers Local 112 and retired after 33 years. Mr. Cartee loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Cartee enjoyed hunting and fishing was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Nascar fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Cartee and Vermelle Kitchens Cartee, and wife, Audrey Cartee. Mr. Cartee is survived by his children, Dwight Cartee (Cindy), Donna Cox (David), and Jeffrey Cartee; grandchildren, Mavory Pate (Colt), Claude Braddock, Taylor Cox, and Logan Cox; great-grandson, K.J. Stafford; siblings, Trentis Bush, Eddie Cartee (Zheny), Wendell Cartee (Susan), Terry Cartee, and Pamela Knight (Terry); other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
