Wanda Rae Varden

Mrs. Wanda Rae Varden, age 76, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 surrounded by family. Mrs. Varden is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Luellen McIntyre Adcock, and granddaughter, Linnie Amanda Crawford. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 1/2 years, Sterlin Varden ; children, Danny Varden (Susan) and David Crawford (Frankie). She is also survived by her siblings; Margaret Tucker (Tommy), Gladys Norman (Ronnie), Linda Brown, Margie Grantham (Ronnie), Bobby Adcock (Darlene),four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren , one great-great grandson, special niece Sandy Stinson (Woodrow) and host of other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Varden’s family will remember her love of gardening, quilting, cooking and most of all, her love of family. Her most precious times were times spent with her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Celeste Road, Saraland, AL.
