Ruth Rae Clifton

Mrs. Ruth Rae Clifton, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She joined her husband Ernest Clifton and youngest son, Tony Lane Clifton in Heaven. Mrs. Clifton is also preceded in death by her parents, William Clark Roach `and Irene McInnis, brothers, James Burford “Tobe” Roach, Marvin McInnis and sister, Jennie “Weechie” Brown. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Rita Darlene Clifton, her oldest son, who loved her dearly and will miss her, Ernie Ray Clifton (Lisha). Darlene lived with her mother for twenty five years where they took loving care of each other. She is also survived by her brothers, Brown McInnis (Margaret), John Thomas “Bully” McInnis, sister-in-law, Nelline McInnis, grandchildren; McKenzie Lane Clifton, Taylor Ross Clifton, Logan Ryan Clifton, great-granddaughter, Lauryn Raelynn Clifton and daughter-in-law, Sudie Clifton. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until service time of 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
