L. L. "Luke" Lolley

Mr. L.L. “Luke” Lolley – age 83; born February 19, 1928 – died February 13, 2012. Mr. Lolley retired from Scott Paper Company as an operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Lennie Bell Kennedy Lolley; and three brothers, Wiley Lolley, Floyd Lolley, and Hoyt Lolley. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Gertrude Trehern Lolley; two sisters, Audie Dowd of Saraland, AL and Iolun Lovelace of Wilmer, AL; three brothers, Arvis W. Lolley, Homer Lolley, and Donnie Lolley; three sons, James Lee (Shelia) Lolley of Mobile, AL, Joel Randall (Kelly) Lolley of Saraland, AL, and Jonathan Farrell (Joan) Lolley of Semmes, AL; six grandchildren, Shannon (Michael) LaBit of Grand Bay, AL, Dennis Lolley of Valdosta, GA, Aaron Lolley of Saraland, AL, Katlin Lolley of Saraland, AL, DeAnna Lambeth of Semmes, AL, and Krista Lolley of Robertsdale, AL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Aaron Lolley, Ernest Trehern, Terry Trehern, Justin Trehern, Derek Thorton, and Steve Lovelace. Mr. Lolley’s family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Eight-Mile Nursing Home, especially nurses, Michelle and Tim, for their care of Mr. Lolley. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Lott Road Church of God. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Church. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
