Joe Franklin Adams, age 75, 0f Chickasaw, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Joe was born June 13, 1948, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He retire from Merrit Oil Company. He was a Nascar and Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He lived for his children and grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Paw Paw Joe".
He is preceded in death by his parents Lois and Ocie King adams; one sister, June Robinson; step-mother, Frankie Adams; and brother, Terry Wayne Adams, Sr. He is survived by his loving son, Joseph Adams (Miranda); daughters, Brandy Adams, Rhonda Smith, and Lindsay Cook (Jonathan); ex-wife, Sharon Smith (Ronnie); five grandchildren, Adelyn Alise Adams, Dakota Mathew Glenn, Jeffrey Skylar Glenn, Ocean Sierra Glenn, Timothy Errin Lee; two sisters, Gail Fant and Lynn Hill (Bob); and numerous nieces and nephews.
