Jean Bernice Holman-Powers

Jean Bernice Holman-Powers – beloved mother and grandmother, an 81 year-old native of Mobile and current resident of Satsuma passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. She was a longtime member of the Toulmin Chapter No. 455 of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of several local mystic societies.

Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her first husband, Riley B. Holman, and second husband, Billy Powers. She is survived by her sons, Barry Holman (Teresa) and Dewayne Holman (Susan); grandchildren, Seth Holman, Cole Holman (Abigail), Klein Holman, and Ben Holman; and sister, Dorothy Teske (Bill). The family would like to thank the medical professionals, family members, and friends that helped with her care over the years.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
