Inez Jackson Mosley

Mrs. Inez Jackson Mosley of Saraland, AL went to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the age of 96. She was a native of Toxey, AL and the loving wife of the late Wallace Mosley, her husband of 62 years. Other family members awaiting her arrival are her parents, Leonard and Ola Jackson; brothers, L.C. and W.C. Jackson; brother-in-law, Jabo Turner; sister-in-law, Carol Jackson; and her nephew, Larry Turner, all of whom she loved dearly. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Langley (Jess) of Chattanooga, TN and Karen Stanton of Mobile; grandchildren, Jason Langley (Julie) of Knoxville, TN, Jennifer Hale (Joey) of Chattanooga, Tim Stanton (Jennifer) of Birmingham, AL, Tiffany Slater (Perry) of Ocean Springs, MS, and Tyler Nelson (Chad) of Mobile; eight great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren. She was affectionately called Nanny and Nonnie Nonnie by her grandchildren, and she loved them all TO THE MOON AND BACK. The family would like to give special recognition and appreciation to Bonnie Lambeth and Janice Lomax for the care they so lovingly provided Mrs. Mosley during these last few months. As part of the greatest generation, Mrs. Mosley moved to Mobile during WWII and worked at Brookley Field as a supply technician for the war effort. After her marriage in 1946, she was a wonderful wife and mother and was known for being a tremendous cook. Her specialty was banana pudding, which her family always requested. During retirement, she and her husband spent many happy years in the country behind a blind shooting turkeys or in a deer stand waiting for the perfect buck to stroll into view. They enjoyed their retirement, but it pales in comparison to the joy and happiness they are experiencing now in heaven with the Lord, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ellen Lesley officiating.
