Fay Beatrice Prescott, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born on November 7, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. Fay retired from the Mobile County Health Department. She was a long time member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, making ceramics, cooking and especially, spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Prescott was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Prescott, Jr., parents Roy and Mabel Glover, daughter Karen Edwards Shiver, and grandson Jamie Edwards.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard Prescott, III (Janice) and Roy Prescott (Ana), four grandchildren, and eight great-grand children.
A graveside service for Fay will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saraland, Alabama with Rev. Art Burroughs officiating.
