David Warren Hartley – a native of Mobile AL and lifelong resident of Whistler, AL died Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Houston, TX. He was a lifelong member of Whistler United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Hartley was a music major at Mobile College. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Gordon Hartley, Sr. and Imogene Pate Hartley. Survivors include two sons, Ernest Gordon Hartley III and Nicholas Bascomb Hartley; one brother, Ernest Gordon Hartley, Jr. nine grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends beginning at 9 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Whistler Cemetery.
