Brenda Fay Granade Young, of Eight Mile, Alabama, was called to her Heavenly home on September 22, 2022 and is now at Jesus’s feet. Brenda was born on December 15, 1961, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Mack Bozoene and Ruthie Faye Lundy Granade. She was a Vigor High School Alumni. Brenda will be remembered for her beautiful soul, being a great friend, an amazing wife, a very loving mother, and the best MeMaw possible for her grandchildren whom she loved so very much.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish Brenda’s amazing memories will be her beloved husband, Gary Duane Young, Sr. of Eight Mile, Alabama; three children: her beautiful first-born daughter, Tonya Renea Kirksey (Keith Cecil) of Creola, Alabama, her one and only son, Gary Duane Young, Jr., (Stephanie Ann) of Eight Mile, Alabama, her baby girl, Brandy Nicole Young (Nicole Ann) of Mobile, Alabama; two sisters: Patricia Granade Estes of Chickasaw, Alabama; Linda A. Baker of Semmes, Alabama; a cousin, David W. Wellington of Semmes, Alabama, an aunt, Pauline A. Weaver of Eight Mile, Alabama; two of her best friends: Debra Kay Williamson of Eight Mile, Alabama, Sheila B. Luker of Mobile, Alabama; three Godchildren: Andrew Howard Chestang of Mobile, Alabama, Joshua Eugene Gray of Eight Mile, Alabama, Jaycee Danyeal Pinson of Mobile, Alabama; five very adored grandchildren: Kyleigh Jordan Greene, Kenzie Taylor Kirksey, Baylon Alexander Murphy, Caden Duane Young and CarliAnn Nicole Young; along with extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Honoring Brenda as pallbearers will be Howard Chestang, Justin Hollingshead, Ryan Herring, Frank Burford, Timothy Bush, and Shelton Patrick.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Serenity Gardens, 8951 Old Pascagoula Road, Theodore, AL 36582.
