She retired from Food World as a cashier after many years of service and was currently employed with Rouse's. She enjoyed going to the casino and loved flamingos, wind chimes, sitting on the front porch swing, Little Debbies, Cherry Pepsi, and watching the Voice and America's Got Talent. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Marlowe was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Vernon Ellison and Elizabeth Sue Moore Ellison, and daughter, Karen Richardson.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Johnny Byrd; daughters, Jessica McPherson (Michael) and Amber Adams (Andrew); grandchildren, Deanna Richardson, Corbin McPherson, Josie McPherson, Hunner Adams, and Britley Adams; great-grandchildren, Zaiden Blackwell and Davina Blackwell; sister, Alisa Eagan; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from St. Andrew's Chapel on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
