Juan was born to Jose and Juanita Espinoza of Jerez, Zacatecas Mexico.
Juan came to the United States at the age of 16 In search of a better life for his family. He was employed with many of the surrounding farm labor companies packing celery, oranges, lemons and strawberries before receiving his certificate in 1968 for Automobile Mechanics. He then became a member of the Laborers International Union Local 585, where he retired after 25 years. In 1997 Juan became a United States citizen.
Juan is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Olivia Espinoza, of Santa Paula. His five children, Luis Espinoza (Vivian), Joey Espinoza (Cristina), Juan Espinoza, Jr., Sandra Espinoza and Patricia Espinoza. His eleven grandchildren, Samuel Espinoza (Monique), Gerardo Segura, Crystal Segura, Anthony Espinoza, Richard Espinoza, Sabrina Espinoza, David Espinoza, Kimberly Espinoza, Anthony Spencer, Madeleine Cookson, Isaiah Juan Espinoza and nine great-grandchildren Ciarra, Aliviah, David, Natalie, Destiny, Blade, Avianna, Nathan and Suzie.

Services will be held from 4:00 – 6:00pm at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary December 28, 2015, with Rosary to follow at 7:00pm at Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 427 N. Oak Street, Santa Paula, Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 am Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Internment to follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery 380 Cemetery Road, Santa Paula, CA. Services entrusted to Skillin-Carroll Mortuary 805-525-3391.
