Paul, as he was known to the older generation, and “Pops” as he was known to the younger generation, Postlewait passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday January 5, 2015. He was a generous, loving, free-spirit who will be missed by all who knew him. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Whitworth College, WA, and proudly served in the Peace Crops in Somalia and Liberia. Above all, he loved his family and was very proud of his grandchildren. He was a man of many projects who reveled in a good bargain. He was a collector and fixer of arcane vehicles. He enjoyed sports and woodworking. Pops is survived by his wife Emmy; children Georgia Postlewait, Chelle Guardino, Peter Postlewait and Daniel Postlewait, and grandchildren Savannah Postlewait, Meagan Neal, Haley Neal, Hayley Silvey, Alex Postlewait, Destiny Corral, Juniper Postlewait, Gianna Guardino, and Lilly Guardino. He is also survived by his brother Harry Postlewait and sister Lynne Banta. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara.
