Linda Biondi Rizzo

Linda passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of April 25, 2017. Linda was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to her loving parents, Tony and Helen Biondi (Fanucci). She then moved to the San Jose Area where she spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965 and attended college at Chico State. In 1969, she married Carlo Rizzo and had 2 beautiful children, Carlo Jr and Marisa. She was the most loving Mother and cherished her kids with all her heart, as they did her.

After a fulfilling career at the Santa Clara County Children's Services, Linda retired in 2011 and was thrilled to be able to spend time with her grandchildren, Madison and Mason. She was able to spend 7 years adoring them day in and day out, enjoying precious moments... babysitting, taking them to the movies or ice cream, and bringing Maddie to dance class and other school events. Maddie and Mason loved spending time with her just as much and thought she was the best Grandma there ever was.

Linda lived life to the fullest. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved cooking, traveling, going to the movies, concerts and plays, trips to Disneyland, and monthly game nights with her closest friends.

She was also devoted to God, and attended church her entire life.

Linda is survived by her heartbroken family, her ex-husband, Carlo, her children, Carlo and Marisa (Mike), her grandchildren, Madison and Mason, her brothers Daniel (Becky), Tony (Andrea), Sister-in-law Marisa (Cappy), along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, relatives in Italy, and her many wonderful friends.

Linda was so very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We invite family and friends to join us for Linda's Memorial Celebration on Friday, May 12th at 11am, Lima Family Mortuary 466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA. Immediately followed by her Inurnment at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
