I just learned of Greg's passing while trying to find him online.  Greg was one of my dearest childhood friends and I have often regretted our losing touch with one another after graduation.  I'll always cherish having called him friend and spending the few years we had together.  While his driving often scared me to death, he was always honest, sincere, and loyal to all who knew him.  I'm forever grateful he got me my first job at KFC and the times we spent on the field playing football are some of the best memories of my life.  I am deeply saddened at his passing and my heartfelt condolences go out to his cherished wife and family.

I only learned today of Greg's passing from a mutual friend.  I was so sorry to hear this news.  I worked with Greg at KLA Instruments many years ago and really enjoyed his frank, honest and lively personality.  We ran into each other a few years ago at Whole Foods in Cupertino and it was so nice to see him again.  I am sorry I didn't get to say good bye to him when he left the area.  I am sending warm thoughts to Greg's wife and family.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Thank you for posting the video.  It was nice to get to know him just a little bit more and see the family he adored.

Always my Uncle Greg. The world was blessed to have him. Rest in peace. May your laughter fill heaven as it filled our lives.

My dad was a cynical, sarcastic, and a straight shooter kind of man...he wasn't one to mix words and you could always count on an honest response from him. He liked many things but was passionate About his love of fishing, gardening, cooking, watching football, BBQ along with his Vino and or a nice cold beer.

Beyond those things, he was a great father and a husband. He was a son and a brother. He is and will always be my hero, my mentor, my teacher , one of my biggest supporters and influences as a musician,simply the best father I could ever ask for. He taught me how to use my mind and my hands. He helped teach me to always strive for excellence in whatever you do. Do the best you can with what you've got, don't pay someone to do something you can do yourself. Know your limits and stay humble with whatever gift god gives you. I have the hands of my Grandfather by appearance, but My hands work like my dad's.

My dad had a unique outlook on religion and faith. He believes in God and beyond. he has a saying...
God has always been and always will be, Never a beginning or an end. We are all particles on this earth, but it's what we do while here on earth that matters. He also has a deep appreciation for space and the Cosmo's...what is beyond earth and distant galaxies. Always a thinker, a learner, and a teacher... 

It saddens me deeply to have to let go of his physical being. However, to wish he was still here given his condition , would be selfish. With great love and admiration I let this man go. To be with God , to reunite with his brothers, his dad and to extended family who made an impact on his life. I love you pappy with all my heart, forever. I will see you somewhere down the road. God blessed our family with Greg and he remained a blessing throughout his life.  His passing has left a very big void in my life and he will be missed.  He will forever remain a shinning star for me and is deeply loved.  Until we meet again on the other side I remain your loving sister Diane.

had the honor of working with greg at field stone winery. had him over a few times to watch the fights. my wife and i had gone out with him and his wife on a couple of occasions. greg was funny, very intelligent and a great person. heaven is now a much more interesting place with him. heaven's gain, our loss.
