Frank J. Lopes

Frank J Lopes, 56, left this earth on July 12th, 2022. He was born on the island of San Jorge in the Azorean archipelago to Antonio and Maria Lopes. Before Frank, the couple had another son, Tony. Shortly after Frank's birth, the young Lopes family immigrated to the United States and eventually settled in Mountain View, CA. Frank enjoyed his life in California, where he would take advantage of the seasons, seeking out the beaches and the snow.

He went on to have a family of his own with Jacqueline Alvarez, being a father to Rochelle and Frank Jr. He was a mechanic by trade and a true MacGyver at heart, turning scraps into treasure; much like his father. Frank was always eager to lend a hand, never needing anything in return. A few of his favorite things were having his kids over for a family dinner BBQ, visiting his mother, restoring antique furniture, taking his dog pepper to the lake, and playing tennis. We will remember Frank for his contagious smile, full belly laugh, and always hilarious “Dad“ jokes. He will be loved and remembered fondly for eternity.

A celebration of life for Frank will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
