It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Joseph Enos, age 81, on January 24, 2023. A lifelong San Jose native born to Joseph and Evangeline Enos on August 14, 1941, Ed was a man of many talents who took tremendous pride in his work, his passions, and his family.
Ed graduated from James Lick High School in 1960 and attended San Jose City College. He worked for the City of San Jose for over 30 years as a cabinet maker and later, as a locksmith.
In addition to his family, Ed’s greatest passions were his classic cars, car shows, and woodworking. He was a member of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America for over 48 years. In addition, he also was a member of The Outcasts car club for well over 25 years.
A beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife Clarlene of 62 years, and his two sons: Edward Enos, Jr. (Tammi), and Craig Enos (Amy). Ed is also survived by six grandchildren: Lauren Brewer (Chris), Brittany Palmer (Jackson), Amber Enos, Michael Enos, Katie Enos, Mary Enos, as well as two great-grandchildren: Savannah Brewer and Lucas Brewer. He also leaves behind his brother Gary Enos (Debbie) and a village of family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be held Wednesday, February 15th, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, 200 O’Connor Dr, San Jose, CA 95126. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
