Betty was born on May 14, 1928, the daughter of Josephine and Benny Laviano , of San Jose, California. She married, Ignatius (Jack) Ventimiglia on September 1948. They had three children: Jackie (Dennis); Charlene (John); and late son Gary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother of Janelle (James), Jamie (Joe) and great grandmother of Kayla, Andrea, Joseph and Jackson. She had many nieces, nephews and wonderful close friends and neighbors whom she enjoyed and had many fond memories. She enjoyed her home; baking, gardening, entertaining, playing piano; and her many social events. She loved animals and especially her dog Ashley and 2 cats Puff and Sabrino. To all that knew her she was a caring and beautiful human being that touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Josephine and Benny Laviano; husband, Ignatius (Jack) and son, Gary Ventimiglia and brother Benny Laviano.
A funeral service for Betty will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
A collective Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Sunday, February 5th at 11:00 am. Address: 580 E. Jackson Street, San Jose, CA 95112
