Mary Jane Johnson

Mary Jane Iles was born March 28, 1924, in Lexington, Missouri to parents Ernest & Izola Bell Iles. Mary Jane Johnson passed away November 6, 2022 in Orange, California at the age of 98. Mary Jane had one brother Ernest Jr. and one sister Virginia. Mary Jane married Harold Denzal Lentz with whom they had four sons, Ron, Steve, Harold Jr. (Dennie) and Randy.

Mary later married Bob Johnson, who had 3 children, Mary Ann, Bobby and John. In 1962 Bob and Mary moved to Santa Ana, California. Prior to moving to California their son Terry was born. Once in California they had three more children, Tammie, Patricia and Gary. Mary Jane enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and pottery making. Mary’s greatest joy was spending the holidays with family and friends. Mary loved to help others.

Mary is survived by sons, Ron, Dennie, Randy, Terry, Gary and daughter Tammie, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ernest Jr., sister Virginia, husbands Harold and Bob, children Steve and Patricia. Mary Jane was loved and will be in our hearts forever. She will rest in peace next to Harold and Steve. Services will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park Cemetery on November 17, 2022.
