Marjorie was a Native Californian, born in Los Angeles,California She was an only child and raised by her parents JoMac and Julia Jeanette Murphy. She graduated from South Gate High School .
Marjorie married George J. Mead and together raised 5 children which was her greatest joy in life. Her other joys were her many dogs over the years and her turtles. She loved to laugh and all who knew her remembers her beautiful smile. She taught her children unconditional Love and never had an unkind word about anyone. She loved reading especially inspirational books and autobiographies.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband George who passed in (2013) and son Gary (2016).
Survived by her children Mitch, Dennis, Michele and George, 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Her family is comforted in knowing she is reunited with those she loved so much and now is resting in the arms of her Lord Jesus. We will forever keep her memory alive in our hearts.
She will be laid to rest on 2/7/2024 at Fairhaven Memorial Park between her husband George and son Gary.
