Joe Velasquez of Orange, CA passed away at home on January 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in San Luis Obispo, CA and resided in Orange, CA for 42 years. Joe served in the United States Marine Corps and was proud to be an American.
Joe was an Electrician for IBEW Local 441 for 37 years. He retired in 2002. He was a devoted union man and served on the E-Board and many committees over his career. Joe loved to use his skills to help his friends and family with any electrical work that needed to be done.
Joe had a huge love for life, his family, friends, football, travel, and his union family. Joe was known as a very kind man who would give advice and fill the role of father, son, brother, or friend. "Uncle Joe" as he was lovingly referred to from both sides of his family, was always available to give you an encouraging word.
