He grew up mostly in Garden Grove and Torrance. He was a great father, grandfather and a good person to everyone that knew him. He always had a good joke in his pocket for any situation. He loved all 5 of his kids, Daisy, Curtis Chris Jr., Angelina and Kierstin. He was there in a heartbeat whenever they needed him. Chris was quite the flocker when Christmas time came working for Cottone and Sons Tree lot coming home with flock caked on his shoes. He loved his truck, country music, long drives, and could hustle a pool game if he wanted to.
His passion was working security, he was a big teddy bear that could keep them in or kick them out. He loved working in general getting to meet all kinds of unique characters and people. Chris inherited many of his good traits from his dad, Jim. He was always doing projects around the house whether it was peeling 7 layers of wallpaper off the kitchen or painting the living room. He knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and is waiting and watching over all of us.
He is survived by his son Christopher Jr., his fiance Marisa, granddaughter Genesis., daughter Daisy, son Curtis, his wife Yeomi and granddaughter Brooklyn, daughter Angelina and her fiance Joseph, granddaughter Abigael, his baby girl Kierstin, big brother Gene, and his ex-wife and partner Donna Cottone.
