Betty Joyce Atchison, 92 passed away January 4, 2023, at home in Anaheim, Calif. She was born on September 1, 1930, in Jackson County Oklahoma to Thomas and Lillie Spraggins of Altus, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Gorden Atchison. She attended and graduated from Duke High School. She is survived by three daughters, Betty Gorden Allen and husband Larry of San Diego, Calif., Kathryn Sue Demura of Anaheim, Calif. and Olivia Faye Wright and husband Thomas of Bakersfield, Calif.; five grandchildren Melanie, Sheila and husband Benson, Michael, Mitchell and wife Casy, Darren and wife Breanne; and 10 great grandchildren, Jessica, Natalie, Justin, Jack, Alyssa, McKenna, Emily, Addison, Oliver, and Maya. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends both in California and Oklahoma. Burial will be at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California.
