Rodney Dale Chapman, 79, passed away on March 17, 2020 in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Mr. Chapman was born on January 5, 1941 in Ithaca, New York. He married Lola after meeting through work friends and they were married for 52 wonderful years. They raised 2 daughters and had the honor of becoming grandparents to two wonderful granddaughters. Mr. Chapman was a proud 40 year veteran in our US Navy, retiring as an AKC. Mr. Chapman loved NASCAR, his Dodge truck and most importantly, his family. In his spare time after retirement, he and Lola enjoyed traveling together, especially cruising to Alaska and the Panama Canal.
Mr. Chapman is survived by his wife, Lola, daughters Melinda Bargar (Dan) and Angela Chapman, as well as grandddaughters Reba and Wade Bargar.
In lieu of flowers, the Chapman family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
