Nancy Lee Rivers

Nancy Lee Rivers- 76, died Tuesday, May 3 2016 at home with her loving family. Nancy was born at her home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania August 29, 1939. She moved to Florida in 1962, where she lived out her life. She was proceeded in death by her mother Geraldine ( Gerry) Fickley, her husband John D. Rivers, and her brother Edward W. (Ed) Fickley. She is survived by her brothers, George F. (Bud) Fickley 111, James R. (Jim) Fickley, and Harold R. (Dick) Fickley, and her devoted children; son, Lennie Rivers of Sanford, FL; daughter, Lynn Anderson of Sanford, FL; daughter, April Edwards (Steve Edwards) of Osteen, FL; and daughter Amy Wilks (John Wilks) of Osteen, FL. She had 10 grandchildren who called her Mimi; Justin, Terra, Skye, Lee, Jacob, Denton, Taylor, Clayton, Haley, & Kierra. She also had one great grandson Jameson, and a great granddaughter, Ellie-Ann Nancy, coming soon. She had a lot of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Nancy was an Active member of her church, Christ United Methodist. She loved to play Bingo with her friends on Thursday nights. She was a devoted homemaker and Loving Mother. She will be deeply missed!!! The viewing for Nancy will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the Oaklawn Chapel of Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Homes in Sanford, FL. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10 am at Christ United Methodist, located at 409 Tucker Drive, Sanford, FL with a committal service immediately following at Oaklawn Park Cemetery Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL. 32771
