Howard Charles Law, 72, of Lake Mary passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Shands UF Health in Gainesville. Howard was born on August 5, 1945 in London, England; the son of Charles and Ada Law. His parents brought him to the United States, and then briefly returned to England, before returning to the US permanently in 1950. Howard married his wife, Donna, on July 5, 1997. After retiring from Sprint, Howard enjoyed many different part time jobs with Dunbar as an armored car driver, with MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando as a courier and most recently with Division of Blind Services as a driver for visually impaired students and employees, where he found his true calling. He and his wife are members of Nativity Catholic Church. He had a passion for anything related to big engines, including cars, boats, trains and planes. He had a love of all things racing, especially Nascar and speed boats. Howard had a strong love of service animals and could easily talk for hours about his experiences with them.
Howard leaves behind to honor his memory, his wife, Donna; their four sons, Christopher Sacca and his wife Jennifer of Longwood, Michael Sacca of Baltimore, Joshua Law of Georgia, and Jeffrey Law of Orlando; his daughter Alicia Decker and husband Jonathan of Oviedo, and his eight beloved grandchildren: Holly, Haiden, Hailey, Tyler, Adeline, Matthew, Isabella and Brianna. He was surely greeted in Heaven by his daughter, Nicole (pre-deceased, 1989).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Baldwin Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Howard’s family suggest donation in his honor be made to Donate Life Florida: https://www.donatelifeflorida.org/.
