Diane Walker McMillen

Diane was born in Sudbury, Canada on March 12th, 1940. Diane graduated from the University of Central Florida and received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Master’s Degree in Public Health. Diane was married to Dennis McMillen on October 27th 1962. They had a wonderful and loving marriage for over 50 years. Diane had a career as a Lab Technician for Florida Hospital, now AdventHealth Orlando. Diane loved to travel the world with Dennis and try amazing cuisine with a fantastic glass of wine. Three words to describe Diane would be strong, fierce, and loving.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis McMillen, her son, Rory McMillen, and her parents, Fred Walker and Yvonne Walker. She is survived by two sons, Nicholas Myatt [Melanie Myatt] and Chad McMillen, two sisters, Carol Flood [Chris Flood] and Shirley Bruce [Ken Bruce], five grandchildren, Jacqueline Miller [Justin Miller], Nicholas Thomas Myatt, Seth McMillen, Chad Brady McMillen, and Adelyn McMillen, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Diane will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, 5000 County Road 46A, Sanford, FL 32771. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at All Souls Historic Chapel, 800 S Oak Ave, Sanford, FL 32771. A committal service will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Alternatives @ All Faiths, 1390 Park Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707.
