Cynthia MacLean Law Miller entered into eternal rest on February 19, 2020 after experiencing 81 years of a wonderful life. Cindy was blessed to have raised four amazing boys with her husband William Stockton Law Sr, who preceded her in death. She later married her second love, Robert Miller, who also predeceased her. She was married for 21 years to each husband. She was a true example of how to love your spouse.
Cindy was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, She graduated from American University with a degree in Education. She married William Stockton Law, Sr. She was an elementary teacher until starting a family of her own. She raised her family in Linwood and Northfield, NJ, where she was loved by all who knew her, including all her children’s friends. She was very patient with all the shenanigans her 4 boys and their friends put her through! Cindy loved to travel with her family, her husband, and by herself. She has visited all 50 states and many other countries as well. She was involved in her community church, the Northfield United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and helped with kid’s programs. She loved to cook and swap recipes with her friends. She lost her first husband to cancer after 21 years of marriage. Cindy eventually met and married her wonderful second husband, Bob. They enjoyed the beaches of Margate and listening to good music while eating crab legs. They later moved to Fort Myers, FL, where they lived a very enjoyable life until Bob’s passing. She moved to Lake Mary, FL to be closer to family.
Growing up close to the shores of NJ, Cindy loved the beach! Even in the last years of her life she enjoyed sitting on the beach and feeling the breeze in her face and watching the grandchildren play.
However, her love of the beach was no match for her love of shopping! No store was too big or too small to shop in! And boy, could she find a sale!! Kohl’s was her favorite store and she was a regular there. She could never figure out remote controls, cell phones, or computers, but sure knew her way around fashion and shopping!! She was always up to date on the lasted fashions and styles. Every year she let us know what the color for that year was!
Cindy leaves behind a large family, including 4 children; William Law Jr, Kenneth Law and his wife, Catherine, Richard Law and his wife, Fei and Douglas Law and his wife, Tonya; 8 grandchildren, Michael Law, Lauren Brown, Stockton Law and his wife, Shelly, Jared Law, Ethan Law, Carson Law, Joanna Law and Chase Law; and 2 great-grandchildren, Aluc Brown and Leon Brown who will cherish every moment spent with her. Until we meet again, she will be missed, but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
