Michael Vincent Patterson, born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 25, 1976, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home in Atlanta. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Jade and Opal Rose Patterson of Mableton; his parents, Ronnie and Judy Patterson of Atlanta; aunts and uncles, Joe Horton (Sue) of Lexington, KY, Linda Reed of Bellingham, WA, David Horton (Becky) of Salem, VA, Bonnie Plair of Staunton, VA, and Tommie Patterson of Birmingham, AL. Michael is also survived by a large number of cousins and his close friend, Lillie Bailey. He was predeceased by both sets of grandparents and his uncle, Virgil Reed. Michael was a graduate of the Atlanta Culinary Institute. He was employed as an insurance underwriter by Genessee General. He was a loving father and son who had many friends. He was a big fan of movies and TV. Michael enjoyed beach vacations, and above all things, being with his daughters. A memorial service will be held Thursday July 2nd at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, at 1 o clock with visitation from 12pm until service time.
