Lisa Michele Wilson of Alpharetta, GA, age 57, departed from this life, and became heaven bound on January 25, 2021, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She died at home surrounded by her loving family when she went into the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lisa was born March 29, 1963, at St. Joseph’s infirmary in downtown Atlanta, graduated from Crestwood High School in Sandy Springs and then graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science. While at Tech she was the Freshman President of the Student Body, and a respected member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority serving in a variety of leadership positions, including Vice President and House Manager. Lisa was always a loyal friend to many, a positive role model, and a trusted confidante.
After graduation, she worked for Sara Lee, MSA Software, and Claris Software traveling the world leading corporate training and activities. For the past 18 years, she has been a realtor with Keller Williams. She was a past member of North Springs United Methodist Church and a longtime active member of North Point Community Church, which she loved so much. Lisa is also known for her tremendous love of animals and pets, having always been surrounded by the many furry friends she adopted and cared for.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Thelma Hall, and Lee and Louise Wilson.
She is survived by her parents Jerry Lee Wilson and Ann Hall Wilson of Sandy Springs, sister Jules Wilson Fandos and brother-in-law George Fandos of Hiram, brother Bryant Hall Wilson and sister-in-law Lori Kilgore Wilson of Cumming. She was a loving aunt of nephews Austin Wilson, Jarred Wilson, Connor Wilson and Lt. Chandler Wilson, niece Anna Margaret Wilson, and great nephew Holden Wilson.
Burial services will be private and a Memorial Service will be held at a future date to be announced. She has asked that instead of flowers contributions be made to HealingStrong.org.
