Lynne was raised in Hiawassee, GA where she graduated from Towns County High School. She moved to the Atlanta area shortly thereafter where she began her office career. She and her husband of nearly forty years, Ben, enjoyed working together for over thirty years in their commercial construction business, of which she was the Treasurer and Office Manager.
Lynne had a great love of traveling. A couple of her favorite memories were from trips to Montana and Colorado. She and Ben really enjoyed many outdoor activities together, such as hunting, fishing, and enjoying the beauty and wildlife in Cades Cove, TN. She was especially interested in the Buck Snort Hunting Club, where she enjoyed decades of hunting and camping and enjoying the company of friends. She also loved shopping and a good sale! But her greatest joy was found in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grands, whose exploits she followed and whose pictures adorned her home.
Visitation will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel on Tuesday, June 15th, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 16th at 12:00 p.m. Burial service will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
