Jordan Samuel Cohen, 26, died August 9, 2014. A lifelong resident of Atlanta, Jordan was born August 10, 1988. He loved life, adventure, traveling, the outdoors, yoga and snowboarding. A graduate of Riverwood High and Naropa University, Jordan approached each new day with passion and his positive sprit was infectious. He was always smiling and making everyone laugh. He spent his summers as a camp counselor for children with autism. Jordan is survived by his mother, Christie Hawn Hartrampf, and stepfather, Jack Hartrampf, his father, Robert Cohen, and step mother, Caroline Cohen; sister, Julia Cohen; grandparents, Mark and Adele Cohen and Dale and Sherrie Hawn; aunts and uncles, Curtis and Virginia Hawn, Mark and Connie Hawn, Steve Cohen, Wendie and Laird Stabler, Amy and Tom Waniewski; step siblings, Claire, Leigh-Anne and John Hartrampf, III; cousins, Ben, Mark, Joe, Bryan, Joshua, Holly, Chandler, and Wesley Hawn, Heather Frye, Kacey, Avery, Laird and Mark Stabler, Matthew, Michael and Jenny Cohen and his godmother, Kay Pratt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12 at 11:00 in the morning at H.M. Patterson & Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd. NE, Sandy Springs GA 30328. Mr. Cohen will lay in state beginning at 9:00. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
