Jack Payton Radford Jr., 71, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.
Jack was a devoted husband to his wife, Jacqueline Radford, and a proud father to his daughter, Areme Radford. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Betsy Radford; his sisters, Terri Radford and Patti Sims; his brother, Bill Radford, and Bill's wife, Thui, and their daughter, Tiffany. Jack's light will continue to shine in the lives of his nephew, Michael Sims, Michael's wife, Jaimie, and their sons, Ross and Crew Sims.
Jack's life was a testament to his passion for the outdoors and his love for family. A dedicated member of the Clayton County Bass Club, he turned his lifelong love of fishing into unforgettable adventures, traveling the world in pursuit of the perfect catch. His culinary skills and impeccable palate for food and wine brought family and friends together around countless tables. Jack's enthusiasm for collecting, shooting, and discussing firearms reflected his curiosity and commitment to his beliefs, always sparking lively and meaningful conversations.
He will be remembered as a man with a kind heart, a generous spirit, and an unforgettable laugh that brought joy to all who knew him. Jack valued time-always early, never late— and lived each moment with purpose and care, making everyone around him feel valued and loved.
A memorial service to honor Jack's incredible life will be held on November 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM
at Sandy Springs Chapel, located at 136 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, Georgia.
