Heather Phillips

The family of Heather Elizabeth Phillips is heartbroken to announce her passing on October 25, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on September 29, 1965 in Flushing, New York to Marion and David Phillips.

She was predeceased by her father, David Phillips, and her grandmother, Agnes Scott Roberts, and is survived by her mother, Marion Phillips, her siblings, Bonnie and David Phillips, sister-in-law Kim Phillips, and nephews Miles and Tyler Phillips.

Heather’s family moved to East Cobb in 1979 and she was a member of the Walton High School Class of 1983. In addition to being an exercise fanatic and loving dog mom, Heather found her calling in life as a hair stylist, where she combined her exceptional attention to detail and sense of style with an attentive and empathetic ear to all who sat in her chair. For over two decades, she truly loved what she did and was privileged to call many of her clients genuine friends.

Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, with a reception following the service at Rumi’s Kitchen, 6112 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA 30328.

In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, 1551 Perry Boulevard NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
