Enita Merdriene Green Divani of Marietta, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 5th, 2023 with her loving husband and sons by her side. Mrs. Divani was born in Atlanta at the Crawford W. Long Hospital April 16th, 1957. She lived in Georgia for four years before moving to Fort Lauderdale Florida, where she and her family would live for 10 years. Later, her parents, her two wonderful younger sisters and she moved to the Seven Springs neighborhood of Marietta where she would attend Wheeler High School. After graduation, Enita started her college experience at Reinhardt College before moving onto Kennesaw State University in 1978, where she would meet the love of her life, Samad Divani. After dating for 2 years they married on February 24th, 1981. She would later enroll in Southern Polytechnic University in 1982, where she would complete her Undergraduate Degree in Architecture in 1985. Enita had her first child, Yashar Divani in 1987 and her second child, Ehson Divani in 1995. Mrs. Divani enjoyed a career in architecture and retired from Northside Hospital after 23 years.
In addition to her husband of 43 years and her sons, Mrs. Divani is survived by her sister, Dina Green; uncle, Jim Clark; and niece, Christy Ferguson.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 15th, 2023 at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Her burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
