Carolyn A Stansbury

Mrs. Carolyn Stansbury, age 92, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on June 5, 2012, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. (J.L.) Stansbury, Jr, four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by son John L. Stansbury, III (Jack) and daughter-in-law Kathy Stansbury of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Kimberly G. Stansbury of Gainesville, GA, John Kirkland (Kirk) and his wife Kimberly Stansbury; stepdaughters Miller and Ella Pascale of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Buckhead Baptist Church since 1957. A funeral service will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Buckhead Baptist Church, 4100 Roswell Rd, NE, Atlanta, GA 30342-3717 or the charity of your choice.
