She was born May 2, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Henry and Lucille Ochs. After graduating high school, she attended Washington University in St. Louis to study Commercial Art. She then worked in the family business, “Och’s Gifts”, until she married Bill in August, 1965.
Moving to Atlanta, she dedicated herself to raising her family of two boys. She was very involved in First Baptist, Atlanta. She loved God’s creation, growing and arranging flowers, art, music, her many pets, and creating a warm and inviting home. She was kind and a humble servant to her Heavenly Father, her family, and anyone who had the privilege of meeting her.
Mrs. Cameron is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Cameron, her sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Audra Cameron, Bruce and Julie Cameron, and grandchildren, Kaleb, Ashton, Asher, Reid, Ava Cate, and Annalise.
The family will receive friends and family Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1 o’clock followed by a funeral service at 2 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park.
