Timothy P. Flagg of Sandwich, MA passed away on October 12, 2024, after battling several recently developed ailments: heart disease, bladder cancer, and an uncontrolled infection that precluded treatment of the other two.
He was born January 1, 1957, son of the late Lt. Col Earle V. Flagg and Eleanor Flagg. Narrowly missing the distinction as a true native Cape Codder, his parents and siblings moved to Falmouth, MA when Tim was the age of one. After graduating from Falmouth High School in 1975, he soon met the love of his life, Sue Baynes, while lifeguarding at the Falmouth Heights waterfront enforcing the town’s dog restriction as she freely walked her dog on the beach. Fate. Tim had a natural charm and charisma on top of his keen intelligence, which made him a very successful and likable salesman. He worked for Barry-Wehmiller for the past ten years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue Flagg, and two sons, Josh and Ben. He was the proud “Papa” of his grandson, Brayden Timothy Flagg. He is also survived by his sister Debbie Seidelman, and two brothers, Steve Flagg and Pete Flagg.
Tim loved being near the ocean. He was a surfer, sailor, “pontooner,” and fisherman. He also loved to golf. Most recently Tim and Sue started splitting their time between Sandwich and St. Petersburg, FL where making it for the sunset with their dog, Max, and a glass of wine became a daily priority.
Tim will be remembered as an awesome chef who loved to share and host with his friends and family. He thrived on backyard BBQs and family holiday dinners. His dedication to his family was foremost.
