Born in Wareham, MA, a son of James Robert and Sandra (Tomasek) Swift. Also survived by siblings Robin, Ryan Swift and uncle to Aaron, Alley and Emily Swift. A nephew to Richard Swift, David Tomasek and many special cousins and great friends whom he loved dearly.
He graduated from Sandwich High School. Bob worked in the financial services industry for 17 years.
At the time of his passing he was a Financial Consultant with Wealth Management at Citizens Bank. Bob was very passionate about his work and dedicated to his clients and colleagues.
Bob enjoyed hunting, country music, sports, cards, NASCAR, Foxwoods and Seinfeld. He was a fanatic New England sports fan. But most of all he enjoyed a good joke.
He will be loved and missed by all the lives he has touched. Bob loved and had many friends and was close with his family. He had a special bond with Bmac and Lisa, Welch, Chris and Juliet, Jeff, Sally, Will, Summer and Sam Swift, Lori and Craig Crocker, Brian (aka Buck) Michelle Daggett, Dan Lucas, Richie, Andy and Karen Cahoon, Marco, Woody, Goody, Bean, Jerry and Kerry Tosca, Darrel Evans, Eddie Ribeiro, Peter and Pete Russell. Rob and Anna Orcutt, and his special little friends Jimmy, Montana Rose and Kaden-Cash Orcutt and many more good friends, and too many to mention. Also can’t forget the good times hunting in Maine with Darold Evans, Dan, Ryan, Jimmy, Aaron and Brian. He also loved going to Foxwoods with everyone. Bob was a true believer in looking his best in a good get up on Halloween. Bob really loved spending all his free time with his friends, family and truly went out of his way for others. Bob was also known as Sweet Bobby and Bobby Donuts.
His visitation and funeral service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. with the service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA.
