Christine M. Mackin

MACKIN, Christine M. "Chrissy" 56, (Lynch) of Sandwich, MA formerly of Falmouth, MA, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on February 26, 2023. She was the daughter of John Joseph Lynch and her mother Helen Elizabeth (Wiggs) Lynch and her sister Patricia Carvalho.

Chrissy grew up in Falmouth and attended Public Schools there, ultimately graduating from Falmouth High School and attending Salem State College. Chrissy worked as an insurance broker for many years at Paul Peters Agency, a family owned business until her retirement in 2019. Besides spending time and traveling with friends and family, her greatest joy was her beloved dogs. She was an avid fan of Tennis and Football, especially the Patriots.

She is survived by her loving husband Peter, who shared eight years in marriage. Her sisters; Helen C. Phillips, Marjorie S. Sharpe & Paula A. Lynch, all of Falmouth, Ma, and Mary C. Davis of Florida. Her brothers; John Joseph Lynch III of Mashpee, MA, and Michael Christopher Lynch of Falmouth, Ma.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 4th at 11:30am, Visiting Hours will be prior from 9:30am-11:30am, Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A Sandwich, MA. Burial is private.
