Anne was born on January 18, 1930 in Westborough, MA to Florence and William Gould . She graduated from Westborough High School as Valedictorian of her class. After high school she was employed at Bay State Abrasives before marrying Charles Herbert Williams and settling in Easton, MA. She soon welcomed two children and showered them with love and devotion. She became an active member of the Easton Garden Club, creating flower arrangements that won blue ribbons, enjoyed being outdoors in her gardens, and later worked as a librarian at the Parkview Elementary School. Years later she would be employed as an accountant with the federal government. She excelled at everything she did!
Anne had a lifelong love of gardening with flowers and vegetables, which she passed along to her son Doug, and shared her passion for arts and crafts with her daughter Sharon. She will be remembered by family and friends as a beautiful, intelligent, caring and generous person who always made family her most important priority. She loved them all and she will be deeply missed.
Anne is survived by her daughter Sharon Packard and son in law Richard of Sandwich, daughter in law Annmarie Williams and son Douglas (deceased) of Sandwich; three siblings Rosemary Kuman and Arthur of Colorado; William Gould and Hazel of North Carolina, Thomas Gould of Georgia; four grandchildren, Tyler Williams, Rebecca Packard, Katie Packard and fiancé Chris Henderson, Jennifer Kilbury and husband Matt, and one great grandson Quinn Kilbury. She is also survived by her extended family of nieces and nephews and special friends and caregivers; Jan Martire, Sue Rohane and Heidi Kaski. She lived a long wonderful life filled with grace, beauty, a generous heart, the Gould sense of humor, and always a happy smile and those twinkling bright eyes.
Family and friends are welcome to attend visiting hours on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. A short service will follow the visitation. All are invited to join the family at the Daniel Webster Inn, Main Street, Sandwich for a celebration of Anne's life following the service. To honor Anne, flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to the Cape Cod MSPCA, 1577 Falmouth Road, Centerville, MA 02632.
